Complete the corrections for your Writing Package 4 as well as your correction worksheet for your composition.

Things to bring on Monday 28/4/2008:
1) Writing Portfolio
2) Vocabulary Building Book
3) CA1 Maths Revision Paper
4) Own writing paper for your Composition Exam

You'll be having your SA1 English Composition Exam on Monday so be prepared!!

Temperature Taking Starting Next Week

From next Monday 28/4/2008 onwards, please remember to bring your thermometer daily for temperature taking.

Please also practise good hygiene (e.g., wash your hands before meals or after going to the toilet, do not share food, drinks or utensils with others) as the cases of Hand Foot Mouth Disease is on the rise. So, please take care of yourselves since the exam is just round the corner.

NSW Science

The NSW Science Test will be conducted this Friday 25/4/08 from 7.50am - 9.20am. All of you will be taking it in class.

The Butterfly Story

Today, we have 2 caterpillars in class. They look much cuter as compared to the mealworm (I'm sure you'll agree with me when you observe them tomorrow). We'll accompany these 2 caterpillars on their journey to become pretty butterflies!! =)

The Mealworm Story

Finally, most of our mealworms have gone through the different stages of growth and grown into mealworm beetles. Here's some pictures to share.


This mealworm(larva) is growing quite fat! Hmmm... it should start to moult soon.






Doesn't the pupa look like an alien!? Notice the 6 legs on the underside?






Here is our young mealworm beetle. Its colour will turn darker as it gets older.





Tada~~~.... the adult mealworm beetle has turned black!

Science Project + Homework

Please complete pg 121 - 130 of your Maths WB.

Meantime, I have also given out the seeds and gone through the things you need to do for your Science project. This project needs to be completed over a period of time. It can't be completed within a few days, so please start on it soon. The project will be due in Week 10(19th - 23rd May). You can hand it in earlier if you wish to.
